The Syrphidae Foundation Zweefvliegen Museum (SFZM)
The museum is run by the Syrphidae Foundation and consists of the former private collection of the founder of the foundation.
It has more than 20.000 dry pinned specimens and also some alcohol material.
The main part of the collection consists of European species, while the fauna of the East-Palaearctic and Oriental region are also well represented.
The number of species almost reaches 1300 with 500 pupae of almost 65 species. The type collection is comparatively large with in total 348 primary and secondary types of 95 species.
